Wildfire & Salience

This video is part of a SESYNC documentary series, called: Research In Action, which explores stories of socio-environmental research teams studying wildfire, invasive insect pathways, and water governance in the United States and beyond.

In this video, learn how the Salience & Wildfire team critically examines the complex linkage among fire management actions such as fuel treatments, fire risk, and post-fire effects, including risks to water resources and other ecosystem services. They postulate that to keep pace with wildfire, we need to change the conversation on fire management and risk. What do you think?
