Dani Weissman is a Graduate Research Assistant at SESYNC and a Master’s student in Dr. Kate Tully's Agroecology Lab in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture at University of Maryland, College Park. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2011 with a Bachelor's in Environmental Earth Science. Her research investigates the interactions between phosphorous release from anthropogenic activity, increasing salinity of soils due to salt water intrusion, and sea level rise across agricultural, riparian forest, and wetland ecotones in the lower Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
