The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) invites applications for the 6th Graduate Student Workshop on Socio-Environmental (S-E) Synthesis, to be held August 28-31, 2018, in Annapolis, Maryland, USA.
SESYNC invites applications from recent or mid-career PhD scholars for fellowships to work at SESYNC with its leadership in supporting the community of interdisciplinary researchers focused on social and environmental dynamics. Fellows will use their knowledge and skills to help SESYNC advance existing and new research programs, including communicating science to a variety of stakeholders. Fellowships are for one to two years with the potential to advance to a full position on the SESYNC leadership team that contributes over the long term to our programs and goals.
The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) is dedicated to developing socio-environmental (S-E) synthesis knowledge and skills among students and scholars. SESYNC’s education programs and initiatives support research that will advance understanding of S-E synthesis teaching and learning, opportunities for students and scholars to learn about and practice S-E synthesis, and the development of S-E synthesis teaching resources.
