The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) invites applications for the 6th Graduate Student Workshop on Socio-Environmental (S-E) Synthesis, to be held August 28-31, 2018, in Annapolis, Maryland, USA.
SESYNC invites applications from recent or mid-career PhD scholars for fellowships to work at SESYNC with its leadership in supporting the community of interdisciplinary researchers focused on social and environmental dynamics. Fellows will use their knowledge and skills to help SESYNC advance existing and new research programs, including communicating science to a variety of stakeholders. Fellowships are for one to two years with the potential to advance to a full position on the SESYNC leadership team that contributes over the long term to our programs and goals.
The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center's (SESYNC's) cyberinfrastructure (CI) program provides the human and computing resources needed to arrive at data-driven solutions to pressing socio-environmental (S-E) problems. We offer a variety of services, training, research support, and tools. The CI team is available to help any SESYNC supported project.
